Como Zoo and Conservatory

Miss Ella posing in front of the Rubrum Lily.  Both are pretty!
Master Happy hamming it up for me at a flower of his choice.  Very nice.  I'll take it as long as I can get it.
Cousins meeting for the first time.  Henrik, Ethan and Sophie were finally getting to meet Indigo. She's checking them out as much as they're looking at her.  Henrik was very interested in her "good grip."
Chuck and Sophie enjoying an Icee.  It was hot.  We all had Icees.  Mmm, cherry.

Twelve days old

Indigo and I took Happy in to the Doc to get him some medication for allergies. I snuck Indi on the scale (fully dressed) and she weighed in at 12 pounds 5 ounces. Must be feeding her enough. Happy feels better with some fancy eye drops, nose mist and generic Claritin. Indigo feels good getting held and fed. Not necessarily in that order. We all enjoyed the beautiful evening of warmth and calm.

Some of our visitors

A few more pictures from our hospital stay

Thursday May 7, 2009 ~ Almost ONE day old

The day after Indigo was born was very relaxing.  We had a few visitors, worked on resting and breastfeeding.  Here's a few pictures from Thursday May 7, 2009.

Introducing Indigo Cerise Daugherty

Here she is!  She was born after only 5 pushes so a lot of purple brusing occurred.  It's mostly gone now, four days later.

Taking all the measurements, including 11 pounds 2 ounces and 22 inches long.
